Chicken Rice S'pore




ehhmmmm Yummy....Uenak tenan...
Inget 4 tau lalu saat masih di Singapore....chicken rice nya pokoknya enak dech
sebernya gampang cara buatnya cuma mungkin beda tangan nya yah
jadi ga sama dech lezatnya


never main yg penting udah dpt recepnya kapan2 nyoba dech

Ingredients

1 whole chicken with skin , washed and patted dry
2 tbsp ginger garlic
1 tbsp light soysauce
1 stock pot full of broth made of chicken bones flavoured with ginger slices and whole garlic cloves

3 rice cups rice
1 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp fresh ginger garlic juice
1 screwpine / pandan leaves , washed and knotted
3 rice cups chicken stock ( can use 1 instant chciken stock cube to make this too )

Dips :
Dark soysauce
...................
Fresh chilli padis ( hot cred chillies ) , 1 thai lime with skin and 2 freah garlic clove - pounded

Fresh ginger pounded
...................
How to make it

Plunge the chicken in hot broth , simmer , turning occasioanally , cook until done . May take one hour or abit more .
Rub the soysauce all over the chicken .
Slice it with the bones .
( Remove the skin if you are afraid of piling up on calories )

Put all the ing for rice in the rice cooker and switch to COOK position .
Once starts to cook the aroma will fill the air .
Once done , remove the screwpine leaf and fluff it .

Serve the rice with chicken stock ( with boiled vege and tofu cubes inside ) , fresh cucumber ( chinese celery and tomato slices ) and the dips .
